Our Story Began with One Family’s Journey

After witnessing the gaps in traditional home care, we founded Spring Bloom to do dementia care differently — with expertise, continuity, and genuine human connection.

Our Story

Created to bring families the kind of dementia care we wish we’d had.

When my father developed vascular dementia after a stroke, our family wanted to keep him at home — surrounded by comfort and love. But finding the right care was harder than we ever expected. Agencies rotated caregivers constantly, few had dementia training, and the care felt impersonal. My mother was exhausted, and we all felt alone.

That experience revealed something important: families like ours need caregivers who truly understand dementia and an agency that supports them as professionals.

As a family-owned organization locally founded here in the Triangle, we built Spring Bloom to bring families the kind of care we wish we’d had — compassionate, consistent, and grounded in true expertise. Every caregiver receives layered, ongoing training in Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care™ so they can bring calm, confidence, and dignity to every home we serve.

Our Mission and Philosophy

Guided by values that put people, purpose, and quality at the heart of care

Mission Statement

Our mission is to deliver exceptional dementia care that improves quality of life for clients and peace of mind for families. We do this by investing in caregivers, applying evidence-based practices, and fostering meaningful relationships that bring calm and dignity to every home.

Philosophy

  • Dementia care requires specialized understanding, not generic support.
  • Great care begins with well-trained, well-supported caregivers.
  • Every family’s journey is unique and deserves holistic partnership.
  • Technology and systems can enhance, not replace, human connection.
  • We measure success through outcomes: stability, joy, and trust.

A Proven, Person-Centered Model for Dementia Care

Our approach integrates evidence-based dementia techniques, family guidance, and technology-enabled support to deliver better outcomes and lasting peace of mind.

At Spring Bloom Memory Care at Home, we combine advanced training, holistic family support, and innovative tools to create calm, connection, and confidence at home.

Our caregivers receive layered instruction in dementia care through Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care™, the Alzheimer’s Association, and our own soft-skills training — ensuring compassion, insight, and consistency in every interaction.

We partner closely with families to address behavioral challenges, support wellbeing, and use technology thoughtfully to enhance safety and communication.

Our focus is always on outcomes — stability, joy, and the comfort of knowing your loved one is truly understood.

Rooted in expertise. Nurtured by empathy. Designed to help families flourish.
